600/1000V Low Voltage XLPE 35mm 4 Core Aluminum Power Cable
The 600/1000V low-voltage cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) 35mm² 4-core aluminum power cable is an efficient power transmission product designed specifically for low-voltage distribution systems. It combines economy and reliability, and is widely used in building distribution, industrial plants, municipal engineering, and other scenarios. With a rated voltage of 600/1000V, it is suitable for low-voltage power grids with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, meeting the requirements of three-phase four-wire distribution systems and providing stable power support for small and medium-sized equipment clusters, floor distribution trunks, etc.
In terms of specifications, the cable adopts a 4-core structure, with each core having a conductor cross-sectional area of 35mm². The "4-core" includes 3 phase lines and 1 neutral line, perfectly matching distribution scenarios with mixed three-phase balanced loads and single-phase loads. The conductor is made of high-purity aluminum (purity ≥99.7%), and after optimized annealing treatment, its conductivity is significantly improved. The DC resistance at 20℃ is ≤0.814Ω/km, meeting the requirements of GB/T 12706.1-2020. Aluminum conductors not only cost less than copper conductors but also have the advantage of light weight (about 250kg per kilometer, 40% lighter than copper cables of the same specification), which can reduce transportation and installation costs during laying.
The insulation layer is made of XLPE material with a temperature resistance of 90℃. Through a peroxide cross-linking process, it forms a three-dimensional network molecular structure, with excellent electrical insulation performance (volume resistivity ≥1×10¹⁴Ω·cm), aging resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. In the ambient temperature range of -40℃ to 90℃, the insulation layer will not harden or soften, and can adapt to complex environments such as humidity and dust. The sheath layer is usually made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant materials, with a thickness of ≥1.8mm, having good mechanical strength and weather resistance, and can resist external impact and ultraviolet erosion.
The core advantages of the cable lie in its comprehensive cost-effectiveness and environmental adaptability. The cost advantage of aluminum conductors makes it more economical in large-scale distribution projects, while the low-loss characteristics of the XLPE insulation layer (dielectric loss tangent ≤0.003) can reduce energy waste during power transmission. For example, when transmitting 100A current, the annual loss per kilometer of cable is about 80 kWh lower than that of traditional PVC insulated cables. In addition, the 4-core structure design simplifies the laying process of three-phase four-wire systems, eliminating the need for separate neutral line laying, thus saving installation time and material costs.
In terms of application scenarios, the cable is suitable for floor distribution trunks in multi-storey buildings, such as wiring in strong electric wells of residential buildings and office buildings. The current-carrying capacity of 35mm² (about 110A when laid in air) can meet the total electricity demand of 30-50 households. In industrial plants, it can be used as a power supply line for small and medium-sized motors (power ≤55kW), withstanding equipment vibration and oil-contaminated environments. In municipal engineering, it is often used in power distribution networks of street lamp systems and green belt irrigation equipment, and its weather resistance can adapt to outdoor temperature changes.
During production, the cable strictly complies with national standards. The conductor adopts a compact stranding process to reduce the skin effect. The insulation layer ensures uniform thickness (deviation ≤0.1mm) through three-layer co-extrusion equipment. Finished products must pass rigorous tests such as power frequency withstand voltage test (3kV/5min without breakdown) and partial discharge test (≤10pC). In addition, the cable supports various laying methods such as underground, pipe conduit installation, and overhead, with a bending radius not less than 12 times the cable outer diameter, facilitating construction in complex terrains.
In summary, the 600/1000V low-voltage XLPE 35mm² 4-core aluminum power cable, with its economical cost, stable performance, and wide adaptability, has become an ideal choice in the field of low-voltage power distribution, providing efficient and safe power transmission guarantees for various low-voltage electricity scenarios.
