The 240mm², 630mm² and 1400mm² single-Core XLPE insulated HV Underground Cables feature high-purity annealed copper or Aluminum Alloy Conductors complying with IEC 60228. The compact conductor design adopts layered compaction technology for optimal conductivity. XLPE insulation thickness is precisely designed for 35kV-220kV applications, offering exceptional dielectric strength and tracking resistance. Outer sheaths use weather-resistant PVC or HDPE compounds, with optional flame-retardant or termite-proof formulations. Armored versions with galvanized Steel Tape provide extra mechanical protection.

Manufacturing & QC
Conductors are stranded using 54-basket machines for perfect roundness. Insulation is applied through CCV triple extrusion lines to achieve ultra-clean XLPE layers. Production strictly follows IEC 60840 and GB/T 11017 standards, passing AC withstand voltage tests, partial discharge tests (≤10pC) and hot set tests. Each drum comes with complete test reports and certificates.

Special Applications
Ideal for urban utility tunnels and submarine cable projects. The 1400mm² version supports over 2000A current rating for grid upgrades. Flame-retardant types suit densely installed tunnels while termite-proof versions are perfect for direct burial in southern regions.

Packaging & Shipping
Reinforced steel-wood cable drums with diameters up to 4.5m are used. Standard lengths range 200-500m (shorter for large sizes). Special lifting tools prevent damage during handling. Storage requires horizontal placement away from sunlight.
