In terms of conductor specifications, all these cables use high-purity aluminum as the conductor, with a purity of more than 99.5%. Conductors with different cross-sectional areas have differences in structure.   1. Material

  • Conductor: High-purity aluminum material is used with a purity of more than 99.5%. Aluminum has good electrical conductivity. (4) Production Process

The production process of single core 95mm², 120mm², 150mm², 185mm², 240mm² U-1000, Ar2V, Yjlv, Na2xy aluminum core power cables is advanced and complex, ensuring the excellent performance of the products.
In the conductor manufacturing process, first, high-purity aluminum rods are drawn into aluminum wires of the required diameter through a wire drawing machine. During the wire drawing process, the drawing speed and mold precision are strictly controlled to ensure the uniform diameter of the aluminum wires. Then, the aluminum wires are annealed. The aluminum wires are heated to a certain temperature (about 300-400℃) and kept for a period of time to eliminate internal stress in the aluminum wires and enhance their Flexibility and conductivity. XLPE particles are added to the extruder, melted and plasticized at high temperature (about 120-180℃), and then uniformly extruded and coated on the surface of the conductor through a mold to form an insulation layer. During the extrusion process, the extrusion temperature, speed, and pressure are strictly controlled to ensure uniform sheath thickness, smooth surface, and close combination with the conductor. After extrusion, the insulation layer is cross-linked, usually using a dry cross-linking process. The cable with the extruded insulation layer is passed through a cross-linking tube, and cross-linking reaction is carried out in a high-temperature and high-pressure nitrogen environment, so that XLPE molecules form a three-dimensional network structure, thereby improving the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the insulation layer.
In the sheath extrusion process, for Yjlv, U-1000, and Ar2V cables, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) particles are added to the extruder, heated to a molten state (about 150-170℃), and extruded and coated on the outside of the insulation layer through a mold to form a sheath. For Na2xy cables, before sheath extrusion, a steel tape armoring process is also required. High-quality low-carbon steel tape is wrapped around the outside of the insulation layer at a certain angle through an armoring machine. During the armoring process, the wrapping tension and overlap rate (not less than 15%) are controlled to ensure the tightness and continuity of the armor layer, and then the PVC sheath is extruded.
During the production process, each process is equipped with strict quality inspection. In the conductor process, the diameter and tensile strength of aluminum wires are inspected; in the insulation layer process, insulation thickness, insulation resistance, dielectric loss, etc., are inspected; in the sheath process, sheath thickness, tensile strength, elongation at break, etc., are inspected. In addition, finished cables also need to undergo partial discharge tests, withstand voltage tests, etc., to ensure that the products meet relevant standards and technical requirements.

II. General Product Information

(1) Packaging

To ensure the quality of single core 95mm², 120mm², 150mm², 185mm², 240mm² U-1000, Ar2V, Yjlv, Na2xy aluminum core power cables during transportation and storage, the packaging method is carefully designed.
For long-length cables, steel cable reels are usually used for packaging. The diameter of the cable reel depends on the cable specification. Cables of 95mm² and 120mm² can use cable reels with a diameter of 1200mm, 150mm² and 185mm² use cable reels with a diameter of 1400mm, and 240mm² use cable reels with a diameter of 1600mm. Both sides of the cable reel are equipped with solid baffles with a thickness of not less than 25mm, which can effectively prevent the cable from slipping during transportation. The center of the cable reel is provided with a shaft hole, which is convenient for handling and loading/unloading with hoisting equipment.

The cable is neatly wound into a roll, tightly wrapped with plastic film, and then put into a high-strength carton. (2) Transportation

  1. Transportation methods: According to the different transportation distance and order quantity, select the appropriate transportation method. For short-distance transportation (distance within 300 kilometers), road transportation is generally used, and trucks are used to load cable reels. The trucks need to be equipped with special fixing devices, such as steel wire ropes and tighteners, to firmly fix the cable reels in the carriage to prevent shaking during transportation. For long-distance transportation (distance over 300 kilometers), railway transportation or waterway transportation can be selected. Transportation precautions: During transportation, the cable reel must be placed horizontally, and it is strictly forbidden to tilt or invert to avoid the cable slipping from the cable reel and causing damage. A certain distance should be kept between cable reels, usually not less than 50cm, to prevent mutual collision and extrusion, which may cause damage to the cable sheath and internal structure. Transport vehicles or means of transport should take rain-proof, sun-proof, and dust-proof measures, such as covering with rain-proof cloth and sunshades, to avoid the cable being damp, exposed to direct sunlight, or polluted by dust.

When loading and unloading the cable reel, special hoisting equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, must be used. The hoisting point should be selected at the lifting ring of the cable reel. Hoisting at the baffle or other parts is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the cable reel and the cable. During the hoisting process, the cable reel should be kept stable to avoid violent shaking. During transportation, drivers should abide by traffic rules, drive smoothly, and avoid sudden braking, sharp turns, and other operations to reduce the impact on the cable.

(3) Delivery

  1. Delivery time: After the customer confirms the order and makes payment, we will arrange delivery as soon as possible. For specifications and models in stock, they can usually be shipped within 1-3 working days; for customized specifications or large quantities of orders, the production cycle depends on the actual situation, usually 7-15 working days. We will communicate with the customer in advance to clarify the delivery time to ensure that the customer can reasonably arrange the subsequent construction or installation plan.
